Refrigeration Installation Engineer – Westbury, UK

Salary: £31,000 to £33,400 DOE – OTE up to £37,500 with overtime. Hours: 08:00 to 16:30 with 0.5 unpaid break, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refrigeration installations on commercial vehicles.
• Perform regular inspections and general preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain inventory in the workshop and ensure cleanliness, including oil spills and dust.
• Collaborate with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs for vehicles.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Refrigeration Installation Engineer on vehicles.
• Qualified in F‑Gas & ODS Regulations (Category I – handling fluorinated gases and ozone‑depleting substances; City & Guilds 2079‑11, and F‑Gas Category 2).
• Resilient with strong coping skills.
• Self‑motivated and a team player.
• Attention to detail and precision in installations.
• Time‑management ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Availability for paid overtime and optionally Saturday work.
• Willingness to provide a day off for your birthday and to take 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• Eligible for Bronze Award under the Armed Forces Covenant.
