Program Officer (DClinPsy)
We are seeking a highly organised Programme Officer to support the operational delivery of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) and associated CPD provision.
About The Role
This is a varied and demanding role providing direct support to DClinPsy trainees, the Programme Manager, Clinical and Academic Directors, and others involved in delivering this professional doctorate programme. It supports the coordination of a complex, professionally regulated programme in which trainees are both University students and NHS employees, ensuring effective delivery across teaching, placements, and research in line with University, NHS, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
You will work closely with academic staff, NHS partners, and professional services colleagues, acting as a key operational point of contact to ensure the smooth running of programme processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery across teaching, placements, and assessments.
- Manage trainee progression, records, and compliance.
- Support governance activities such as Boards, Exam Boards, and Fitness to Practice procedures.
- Liaise with NHS partners and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate systems and reporting.
- Provide line management to a Programme Administrator.
About You
You will have
- Experience in a busy administrative or programme coordination role.
- Proven ability to manage complex processes and competing priorities.
- Strong organisational, communication, and data management skills.
- The ability to work independently within established frameworks.
Experience within higher education, the NHS, or professional training environments would be an advantage.
