Description
- Manage and oversee the VAT compliance function for a portfolio of clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Provide expert advice on VAT legislation and its implications for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance VAT compliance efficiency.
- Support clients during VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay updated on changes in VAT regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients and colleagues.
Profile
A successful VAT Compliance Manager should have:
- A strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance processes.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, tax, or finance.
- Proven experience in VAT compliance within the professional services industry.
