Position Summary

Operations Support Manager – Full Time, Derby/Hybrid with frequent travel (80% of the time). This role involves resolving critical issues and mitigating risk within the Aerospace Procurement Operations Support team. You will establish sustainable, long‑term supply chains by improving Quality, Cost & Delivery, providing a competitive edge for Rolls‑Royce, its customers, and suppliers.

What you will be doing

As an Operations Support Manager you will support engagements with the supply chain from the initial analytics week, through the engagement to exit and handover back to the Supplier Management Team. You will drive the identification, development and implementation of robust supply chain processes and tools to prevent future risks of failure. Reporting to the Head of Operations Support, you will take responsibility for driving performance with the supply chain.

Position qualifications

  • Strong team player, able to lead cross‑functional teams and drive sustainable change to meet quality and delivery improvements across the Supply Chain.
  • Ability to build relationships and drive output, with tenacity, drive and flexibility.
  • Experience leading significant projects/activities across a range of improvement activities.
  • Experience in operations (manufacturing), planning or supply chain management.
  • Effective problem solver, with knowledge and experience of using lean tools and techniques successfully to deliver improvements and create value.
