Reception & Office Coordinator
Bristol (Office-Based)
£25,000-£28,000 + Bonus
The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing financial planning practice in Bristol as the business continues to expand.
Initially, this role is focused on delivering an exceptional front-of-house experience. As the first point of contact for clients, advisers and visitors, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the office runs professionally and efficiently while creating a warm, welcoming environment.
As the office continues to grow, you’ll receive full training on the firm’s client management systems and administrative processes, allowing you to develop into a broader client support position over time.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is looking for a long-term career within a professional office environment.
What you’ll be doing
Your day will typically include a mixture of front-of-house responsibilities and office coordination, including:
- Welcoming clients and visitors
- Preparing meeting rooms for client appointments
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries
- Coordinating post, deliveries and office administration
- Maintaining a professional and well-presented reception area
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative tasks
As your knowledge grows, you’ll receive training on the firm’s CRM system and client administration processes, giving you the opportunity to broaden your responsibilities over time.
About you
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being the face of the business and takes pride in creating a professional, organised environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or office support role
- A professional and confident manner
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A proactive, can-do approach
- Experience within a corporate or professional services environment would be advantageous
No previous financial planning experience is required. Full training will be provided.
What this role offers
You’ll be joining an established financial planning practice at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to build a long-term career rather than simply filling a reception position.
As the business expands, so too will your responsibilities, with structured training and ongoing development into client administration and operational support.
Benefits
- Annual bonus scheme
- Referral commission for introducing friends and family
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
- Study support and funding towards industry qualifications
- Pension scheme and sick pay
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Birthday day off
- Regular company events
- Opportunities to support the firm’s charity foundation
- Clear career progression within a growing business
Why this role?
This is more than a reception position. It’s an opportunity to become part of a growing financial planning practice where you’ll be trusted to shape the client experience from the moment someone walks through the door, while developing new skills and building a long-term career within a supportive, professional team.
