You’ll play a key role in delivering high-profile planning projects across sectors including infrastructure, renewable energy, residential, commercial and regeneration, while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

The Associate Planner Role
As an Associate Planner, you’ll lead a diverse portfolio of planning projects from inception through to completion. You’ll provide expert planning advice, prepare reports and planning applications, manage client relationships and support Directors in delivering complex development schemes. You’ll also mentor junior team members while helping to develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Chartered Member of the RTPI (or equivalent)
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Around 10+ years’ planning experience within the public or private sector
- Strong knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act and planning policy
- Experience managing planning applications and major development projects
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) knowledge
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage client relationships
