Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring costs, timelines, and budgets are effectively controlled from project initiation through to handover
- Direct and manage the performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and external consultants to support successful project execution
- Monitor key project milestones and programme activities, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to avoid delays
- Assess construction tenders, commercial proposals, and scope requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Chair and coordinate client-facing meetings, stakeholder reviews, and project progress sessions
- Track market and project-specific cost drivers, providing detailed reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support informed decision-making
- Apply expertise in procurement strategies and oversee the scheduling and delivery of critical long-lead materials and equipment
- Examine and verify cost plans, quotations, and estimates submitted by subcontractors and project partners to ensure accuracy and value
Requirements & Experience
- at least 10 years of experience in project management, construction management, or a similar leadership role
- Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, alongside industry-standard project management software
- Demonstrated success in leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders across complex construction environments
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and financial oversight
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments, delivering projects to demanding schedules while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
