Our international client is currently searching for a Staff Photolithography Process Development Engineer to be responsible for developing, optimising, and supporting lithography and e-beam lithography processes for III-V semiconductor and photonic devices. Driving process improvements, new product introduction (NPI), yield enhancement, and manufacturing efficiency in a semiconductor fabrication environment will all be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimise, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing processes (particularly lithography/e-beam lithography).
- Improve yield, process capability, cycle time, and reduce scrap using SPC, Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical analysis.
- Qualify and support manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and capacity.
- Analyse process and equipment data to identify and resolve issues.
- Support NPI, technology transfer, and cross-functional engineering projects.
- Produce technical documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment problems in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong Photolithography process knowledge
- Experience in semiconductor, photonics, MEMS, optoelectronics, silicon photonics, or other advanced manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of:Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Root cause analysis
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) (desirable)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- HNC/HND or Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Semiconductor Technology, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
