Asset Management Associate – Renewable Energy Infrastructure

We’re partnering with a leading renewable energy investment platform to recruit an Asset Management Associate to join its growing Infrastructure team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established investor with a significant portfolio of renewable energy assets across the UK and Ireland, including onshore wind, hydro and battery energy storage (BESS). The business manages multiple investment funds and has a substantial pipeline of projects spanning development, construction and operational assets, offering excellent long-term career progression within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, working across both operational and development-stage projects. This is a broad role combining commercial, financial, technical and stakeholder management responsibilities while working closely with senior investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of operational and development-stage renewable energy SPVs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and manage relationships with joint venture partners, lenders, contractors, landowners and advisors.
  • Lead the negotiation and renewal of commercial contracts, including PPAs, O&M agreements and site management contracts.
  • Oversee budgets, cash flow, invoice approvals and operational reporting.
  • Monitor asset performance and deliver regular KPI reporting.
  • Support construction and development activities, including site visits and stakeholder coordination.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio value through repowering, asset life extensions and BESS/solar co-location projects.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within renewable energy, infrastructure or a related sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with excellent organisational and communication skills.
