At Abbots Care we pride ourselves on changing people’s lives for the better. We are looking for a caregiver to support vulnerable people in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Help people leave hospital as soon as practicably possible and safely transition back home.
- Visit Service Users in their own homes to provide appropriate care and support as defined in the Care Plan.
- Provide personal care, administer medication, monitor vital signs, assist with exercise and domestic tasks.
- Liaise with medical professionals such as district nurses and pharmacies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
- Own vehicle required for the role.
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care (required for hourly rate).
Work Hours & Pay
- Shift patterns: 7 am‑2 pm and 4 pm‑10 pm, inclusive of alternate weekends.
- Hourly rate: £13.43 ph on weekdays, £15.50 ph on weekends.
- Contract up to 40 hours per week.
- Paid mileage at 40 p per mile.
- Paid training and DBS checks.
