Children’s Residential Senior Support Worker
You are invited to join a team that supports young people aged 8‑18 with a range of behavioural and emotional needs.
Responsibilities
Role responsibilities include:
- Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager where required
- Assisting Residential Care Workers with mandatory learning and development
- Communicating on‑site and raising awareness of individual care plans
- Maintaining accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets and files
- Participating in team and staff meetings to support communication and growth
- Providing care to the young people in our services
- Encouraging young people to prepare for re‑entry to education or continuing schooling
- Accompanying young people to and from school or college
- Preparing meals and maintaining the home environment
- Organising and facilitating social activities
Shift Pattern
16‑24 hour (including sleep‑in) on a one on two off or two on four off basis.

- Rate of Pay: £14.17 – £14.99 per hour (dependent on experience/qualifications)

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Desire to obtain Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent Children & Young People’s workforce
- 12 months senior experience in a residential setting preferred; early career applicants also encouraged
- DBS and reference checks compliant with government regulations
