Job Title: Care Assistant – Days

£700 SIGN ON BONUS! (To be paid after three months employment)

Salary: £13.62 ph plus incentives

Hours: Full time, 3 to 4 shifts per week; 7am-7pm including alternate weekends

Location: Sleaford, NG34 9PL

About St Andrew’s Nursing and Care Home

St Andrew’s is located in the village of Ewerby, 5 miles east of Sleaford. The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. It provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of care and assistance to residents in all aspects of daily living, such as washing, dressing, and eating.
  • Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect, while supporting their physical and emotional well‑being.
  • Complete all daily charts to a high standard, ensuring 90% and above is achieved during all monthly daily chart audits.
  • Maintain 100% completion of all mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements

  • Clear motivation and/or relevant experience.
  • Reside within 20 minutes of the care home.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Caring and nurturing attitude.
  • Positive and enthusiastic mindset.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
