Locala Community Stroke Service provides comprehensive care for adults in community settings after stroke. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our team to cover maternity leave.
The service is based at Mill Hill Community Health Centre in Huddersfield, with good motorway links.
It provides high quality care to patients in their own homes, community rehabilitation facilities and care homes.
Responsibilities
- Work within the established service as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Treat patients who have had a stroke or neurological conditions and delegate to support workers.
- Train staff and support development within the team.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and flexibility.
