Senior Care Assistant – Homemaker Lead

Our Homemaker Leads provide individualized, flexible care for each resident in a family‑style environment. The role differs from traditional care assistants by allowing more time, personalised support and the ability to tailor care to each resident’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, person‑centred care to our residents.
• Administer medication and support daily living activities such as bed making, eating and mobility.
• Arrange social visits, meals and community outings tailored to the resident’s preferences.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and review care plans.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with CQC standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong background in a care environment; experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Carer, Home Care Assistant or Domiciliary Care Assistant.
• Training experience or qualification; NVQ Level 3 (desirable).
• Commitment to keeping residents safe and supported.

Working Pattern and Remuneration

• 12‑hour shifts, with alternative weekends on a rota basis.
