The Role
As a Workshop Fitter at the Tamworth Depot, you’ll carry out essential maintenance and turnaround work on a fleet of Telescopic Handlers, ensuring every machine is safe, reliable, and ready for hire.
- Pre‑Delivery Inspections
- LOLER safety inspections
- Scheduled servicing
- General repairs & damage assessments
- You’ll play a key role in keeping the depot running smoothly — fast turnarounds, accurate diagnostics, and quality workmanship.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Proven experience with plant machinery & diesel engines
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving ability
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- CSCS card advantageous
