What you’ll be doing
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of traffic signals and urban traffic technology
- Learning how to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard
- Supporting experienced engineers and installers on customer sites
- Developing practical electrical and installation skills through on‑the‑job training
- Following health, safety and quality procedures at all times
- Helping to ensure projects are completed professionally and efficiently
- Representing SWARCO positively and professionally on site

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys practical work and takes pride in doing a great job.
- A keen interest in electrical, construction or engineering work
- Good practical and problem‑solving skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset
- A full UK driving licence (or be working towards obtaining one)
- Previous experience in construction, utilities, electrical work or a similar hands‑on environment would be beneficial, but is not essential
