What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of traffic signals and urban traffic technology
  • Learning how to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard
  • Supporting experienced engineers and installers on customer sites
  • Developing practical electrical and installation skills through on‑the‑job training
  • Following health, safety and quality procedures at all times
  • Helping to ensure projects are completed professionally and efficiently
  • Representing SWARCO positively and professionally on site

  • A keen interest in electrical, construction or engineering work
  • Good practical and problem‑solving skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset
  • A full UK driving licence (or be working towards obtaining one)
  • Previous experience in construction, utilities, electrical work or a similar hands‑on environment would be beneficial, but is not essential
