Workshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established engineering manufacturer producing high‑performance composite components for a range of advanced industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled CNC Machinist to their team, with opportunities available on both day and night shifts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist seeking long‑term stability, regular overtime and the chance to work on precision‑engineered components in a modern manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 5‑axis CNC machines.
- Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
- Program and edit CNC code for complex, high‑precision parts.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow SOPs and machining procedures.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine machine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production and tooling records.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5‑axis machining.
- Confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and teamworking abilities.
- Commitment to safe working practices.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Hours
Day Shift: Monday to Friday (hours to be confirmed).
Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 10‑hour shifts (start time negotiable) with an additional £5.00 per hour shift allowance.
