Electrical Assembly Operative

Role Overview

Electrical Assembly Operative working in St Helens, North West. Permanent position.The company, specialising in telecoms network equipment, seeks a reliable, hardworking individual to join a busy production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, wiring, and sub‑assemblies
• Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely
• Carry out basic testing and inspections on completed products
• Identify and report faults or defects
• Complete production paperwork and records accurately
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures
• Work closely with the wider production team to meet targets
• Keep the work area clean and organised
• Support with additional duties where required

Qualifications

• Previous electrical assembly or manufacturing experience (beneficial)
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
• Ability to read technical drawings or wiring diagrams
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

• Location: St Helens, England, North West
• Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 7am–3:30pm; Friday 7am–12:30pm
• Salary: £24,804.00 – £26,793.00 per annum (dependent on experience)
