We are launching a new, forward‑thinking service designed to provide rapid, compassionate, and highly personalised support to people experiencing multiple disadvantage including homelessness, substance misuse, offending behaviour and domestic abuse. This innovative model brings together trauma‑informed practice, assertive outreach, and multi‑agency collaboration to ensure people access safety with wrap around support to enable them informed choices in their lives.
Responsibilities
As a resource officer you will provide specialist assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act to create strength‑based support plans. Using a trauma‑informed approach, you will develop safety planning and ongoing support to adults facing homelessness or domestic abuse. Working closely with housing, health, police and voluntary sector partners, you will lead on safeguarding concerns, ensuring statutory duties are met. You will be expected to work flexibly across community settings, including outreach, sourcing emergency accommodation and working in partnership with agencies.

- Can communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner, changing messages to suit different audiences.
- Can work collaboratively as a member of a team and be able to develop professional relationships across teams and services to achieve shared aims.
- Can demonstrate resilience, an example of which could be responding to a difficult situation.
- Understand and have the ability to undertake assessment and review activity applying good practice in relation to individuals and carers.
