Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council invites applications for two experienced social workers to join our Children in Care Team. This opportunity arose due to positive career progression within the service and offers a chance to play a key role in supporting children and young people in care.
As a practitioner you will role‑model relational and restorative practice, build positive relationships and connections with children, young people and their families, and support permanency plans including adoption, fostering, residential care, connected family placements and progressing towards SGO and reunification.
Working Hours and Salary
Hours:37 per week
Salary:Grade 9 or 10 – grade and salary subject to experience

Requirements
- Qualified social worker with at least 1 year of post‑qualifying experience
- Completion of the ASYE programme is mandatory; candidates who have not completed it will not be considered
