About the Role

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will provide 1:1 support for service users, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, including group work. You will take a holistic “whole person” approach to create recovery plans tailored to individual needs and priorities, supporting users toward safe reintegration into the community.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a reduced caseload appropriate to part‑time hours, devising, implementing and reviewing ongoing recovery plans and treatment.
  • Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions, supporting progression from engagement to self‑sustained recovery.
  • Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery capital and social connections.
  • Use the online case management system, SystmOne, to manage recovery planning, safeguarding and risk management processes.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need

  • Experience holding a caseload.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of substance misuse.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable people whose lives have been affected by alcohol and/or drug use.
  • A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care.
