Job Description

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly and supportive team based in Stonehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administration skills who enjoys speaking with customers, resolving queries and ensuring a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor

  • Answer incoming telephone calls from new and existing customers.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally via telephone and email.
  • Process customer orders accurately using internal systems.
  • Assist customers with placing orders and provide stock availability information.
  • Monitor orders through to dispatch, ensuring they are delivered on time.
  • Resolve customer queries relating to orders, shortages, damages, pricing and stock availability.
  • Liaise with logistics and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
  • Deliver an excellent level of customer service at all times.
  • Support the wider team with general administration and office duties.

Key Skills of a Customer Service Advisor

  • Previous experience within a customer service or administration role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
