Recovery Coordinator – Achieve Recovery Services

We are looking for a Recovery Coordinator to support individuals impacted by drug and alcohol use across Salford, Trafford, and Bury. The position is full‑time (37.5 hours per week) and permanent.

With a new long‑term contract to deliver drug & alcohol treatment across Salford, Trafford & Bury from April 2026, we are excited to grow our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out initial assessments with individuals seeking support.
• Provide compassionate, structured case management.
• Empower people to overcome challenges related to drug and alcohol use.
• Work closely with families, significant others, and partner agencies.
• Use motivational, strengths‑based approaches to inspire hope and progress.
• Assist service users in developing realistic recovery plans and facilitate access to psychosocial interventions and support within and external to the service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of the issues faced by people who use drugs & alcohol.
• Awareness of barriers preventing access to support.
• Knowledge of the recovery agenda and commitment to person‑centred care.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships.
• Genuine passion for helping people change their lives.
