About the role
You’ll Fit Right Inn
As an Assistant Manager you will be key to supporting the General Manager in ensuring that our Inn feels like a home away from home for our guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, managing daily operations, and creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily duties and lead a team to deliver company standards.
- Manage the Inn’s day‑to‑day operations, including shift operations in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
- Conduct administrative tasks such as stocktake, ordering, handling accounts management, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Coordinate with chefs, management, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide occasional on‑site support, including handling sleepovers and guest responses.
- Lead, mentor, and create impactful results for the team.
Qualifications
- Strong background in food and hospitality.
- Passion for customer service and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Hands‑on and approachable demeanor, leading by example and fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
