Responsibilities
- Health, Safety & Quality: enforce a health & safety mindset, identify potential hazards, apply HACCP and food safety procedures, understand good hygiene practices and ensure CIP and cleaning processes are performed to the correct standard and frequency.
- Production KPIs: understand departmental KPI’s and performance management tools, drive OEE, plan adherence, cost control, minimise and manage losses and optimise labour on a daily basis.
- Lean: identify opportunities for continuous improvement, utilise lean manufacturing tools such as Root Cause Analysis and Leadership Standard Work, maintain a process confirmation mindset and understand how the Line Centric Organisation supports shift teams.
- Workplace and Organisation: act as a leader and role model, engage with teams to deliver efficiently, resolve and escalated operational issues, work closely with engineering colleagues and site departments, and deputise for the team leader when necessary.
- General Responsibilities: contribute to a healthy and safe work environment, ensure all daily tasks are completed to the expected standard and schedule, and resolve minor conflicts within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within the FMCG sector in a management/supervisory role.
- IT literacy, including MS Office tools and MS Teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow Health and Food safety rules.
