Job Description:

Overview

The DC GSOC operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are impactful or potentially impactful to business, the brand and employees. The role plays an integral part in supporting operational efficiencies and the high performance of the DC GSOC team, assisting regional security teams in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from crisis and non‑crisis incidents, and communicating incident information to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the GSOC primary point of contact for business disruptions, incident response, and crisis management, providing assistance to the DC Global Security Team.
  • Assist DC security management and GSOC security management while coordinating with regional security teams.
  • Provide oversight to routinely support GS and IDC operations in line with post orders, response protocols and SOPs.
  • Liaise with GSS to dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire, and EMS personnel following Meta protocols.
  • Communicate and disseminate information using established vehicles to key partners.
  • Maintain records of communications and events.
  • Gather and manage intelligence and incident information from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Inform the regional TOC immediately of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.
  • Work with the regional TOC to maintain routine security system end‑user health checks and mitigate arising issues.
  • Plan and execute audits: develop audit plans, define scope, and conduct detailed audits as required.
