Courier Support Coordinator – Basingstoke
Location: Basingstoke – Shift Pattern: Any 5 days over 7.
As a Courier Support Coordinator you will keep the delivery unit running like clockwork, supporting and guiding couriers, ensuring parcels are ready for collection, and maintaining efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding of new couriers and allocate work effectively.
- Monitor parcel scanning, courier readiness and ensure compliance throughout the process.
- Address local issues such as late couriers, scanning delays, or missing parcels before escalating.
- Use the Service Tracker to raise timely, transparent escalations when needed.
- Support couriers with manifests, routing, and operational queries.
- Provide daily operational feedback to the Territory Manager to optimise performance.
Qualifications
- Current UK driving licence.
- Solid understanding of the self‑employed courier model.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused operational environment.
- Strong problem‑solving, organisational, and attention to detail skills.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to spot and elevate risks quickly.
