Maths Teacher – Outer London – Newham

A high-achieving, Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School based in Newham is searching for a passionate and dynamic Maths Teacher to join their team for September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Job responsibilities:

• Teach maths across KS3 – KS5
• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum aligned to national standards
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and resource sharing
• Participate in school improvement activities and curriculum development
• Assume leadership responsibilities where appropriate (2iC or KS3 Lead)

Applicant specification:

• UK QTS or in process of gaining it
• Strong academic background – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Previous teaching experience
• ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ lesson observation/placement reports
• Motivated and receptive to feedback
