The leading education charity in the North of England is looking for a Hartlepool Full-Time Tutor. More details about the role and a job pack can be found below.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality tuition to primary and secondary school pupils, in groups ranging from 1:1 to 1:6.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.

Administration and Record-Keeping

  • Maintain accurate registers, lesson feedback sheets, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure timely submission of all administrative paperwork related to tuition sessions.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Liaise effectively with the Hartlepool Programmes team and the Quality team to ensure consistent delivery and pupil progress.
  • Support and share best practices with other tutors where appropriate.

Professional Development

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance tutoring quality and impact.
  • Attend Tutor Trust tutorials, meetings, and training sessions as required.

Safeguarding & Compliance

  • Contribute to the monitoring and reporting of all safeguarding concern processes, within your teams, ensuring all concerns are reported promptly to the Designated Safeguarding Lead or deputies, and helping to promote and foster a culture of vigilance and accountability across The Tutor Trust. Take responsibility for monitoring safeguarding processes within your teams.

Salary: £25,459 per annum. This is a fixed-term, full-time position (36.25 hours across five days a week until 31st July 2027)
