Responsibilities
- Deliver & positioning of high value medical devices such as CTs, MRIs, X Ray systems
- Run system cables and make final connections
- Install & align system covers
- Liaise with project coordinators on job preparation
- Work closely with client project teams on site to ensure smooth project completion
- Coordinate with third parties on site (e.g. crane lifting)
- General driving / delivery duties as required within the UK and Europe
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Delivery, offloading and positioning of customer equipment, including manual handling, carrying, and lifting
- Use specialist handling equipment to ensure safe delivery
- Complete delivery paperwork, timesheets and other paperwork as required for each job
- Assisting with Tech Centre duties as and when workload demands
- Preparation of demo equipment (e.g. C Arms, Incubators)
- Undertake break fix & service and maintenance jobs – nonmedical
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications
- High aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience of mechanical or electrical installations
- Experienced driver with full clean licence
- Very flexible with regards to hours and willing to stay away from home on a regular basis
- Prepared to work up to 2 weekends per month (overtime paid)
- Ability to complete required timesheets and paperwork
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience dealing directly with customers, excellent communication skills
- Good team member with a flexible & can-do attitude, able to work on own initiative
- Good general level of education
