Security Officer Location: Newcastle under Lyme Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour Shift: 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off (overtime available)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Support Officer to join our team. This is a full‑time position with ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression. You will be the first point of contact on site, providing a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service. Your role will be key in ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as a visible and approachable security presence
• Keep staff, visitors, and the site safe and secure
• Monitor CCTV and respond to alarms
• Manage access control and visitor entry
• Write clear incident reports and daily logs

What We’re Looking For

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work alone and within a team
• Reliable, professional, and flexible attitude
• Good time‑keeping and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
