Test Technician

Location: Near Malton, North Yorkshire. Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 depending on experience. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.

Zetechtics Ltd is looking for a Test Technician to join its specialist team developing and manufacturing subsea control systems for the energy sector. The Role

  • Test electronic assemblies and PCB products to documented procedures.
  • Carry out component‑level fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Conduct pressure testing and functional testing.
  • Complete Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on a range of products.
  • Maintain accurate test documentation and quality records.
  • Assist with product assembly and wiring when required.
  • Work within an ISO 9001 quality environment.
  • Support continuous improvement across the production team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience testing electronic products to component level.
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
  • A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider production team.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work.

Experience with hydraulics is not essential. If you have a strong electronics background and the right attitude, comprehensive training will be provided.
