Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about teaching and learning, with high expectations of attainment and behaviour. The post is suitable for experienced or Level 2/3 qualified Teaching Assistants and provides a supportive, friendly team environment with professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience.
- Ability to work in a customer‑facing role with a specified level of spoken English.
- High motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to support classroom teaching and learning.
Checks and Safeguarding
All successful candidates are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list, as well as other pre‑appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education. This post also requires checks under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations and the Childcare Act 2006, which includes a criminal record self‑disclosure form to be completed and returned prior to interview.
