Job Description:

Working hours: 39 hours per week – 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am-3:30pm Friday. Paid overtime opportunities available (subject to business need).

Key Essentials

  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Over 21 years old, minimum of 2 years driving experience required for van fleet insurance and driver monitoring assessment
  • Basic criminal records background check
  • Safeguarding commitment in line with Great Places Housing Group policy

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the clearance of properties at the end of tenancies, including removal of household items and waste
  • Clean and prepare void properties to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and ready for trade operatives
  • Carry out mould treatment, minor damp prevention works, and remove damaged decorations
  • Clear and maintain internal and external areas, including gardens, and remove waste from other trades for appropriate disposal
  • Maintain accurate waste disposal records in line with policies and procedures
  • Treat customers’ homes with respect, work safely at all times, and report any concerns
  • Look after equipment, ensuring it is clean, safe, and in good working order
  • Attend and complete all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
  • Communicate professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
  • Carry out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers’ homes are left clean and secure
  • Use PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
  • Produce accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes

What You’ll Need

  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Comfortable working in a physically active and practical environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential
