Responsibilities
- Deliver an electrical safety programme and provide practical advice and guidance to support the Department’s teaching and research activities.
- Coordinate with staff, students, visitors and contractors to promote electrical safety and ensure a safe working environment.
- Carry out electrical inspection and testing activities and maintain accurate records.
- Support the Department in meeting its statutory and regulatory obligations and ensure electrical safety standards and best practice are consistently applied.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive safety culture across the Department.
Contract
This on‑site role is Monday to Friday and is funded for two years in the first instance.
