Electrical Inspection and Testing Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver an electrical safety programme and provide practical advice and guidance to support the Department’s teaching and research activities.
• Coordinate with staff, students, visitors and contractors to promote electrical safety and ensure a safe working environment.
• Carry out electrical inspection and testing activities and maintain accurate records.
• Support the Department in meeting its statutory and regulatory obligations and ensure electrical safety standards and best practice are consistently applied.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive safety culture across the Department.

Contract

This on‑site role is Monday to Friday and is funded for two years in the first instance.
