Nursery Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about giving young children the best start to their learning journey.

Responsibilities

• Hold a minimum level 2 qualification in Child Care, teaching assistant or nursery nursing.
• Support high‑quality teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in delivering engaging, play‑based activities that nurture curiosity, independence and early learning skills.
• Build warm and supportive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional and academic development.
• Contribute to observations and assessments to help track children’s progress.
• Promote school values and help ensure every child feels safe, confident and valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Child Care, teaching assistant or nursery nursing.
• Passion for early childhood education and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team with teachers and support staff.
