Position

Graduate Apprentice Developer (AI & Data Science) – 2 positions. This is a fully funded degree role: we pay your tuition and provide a salary.

Hours

36 hours per week.

  • Monday: 9:30am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis for 48 months.

What You Will Do

  • Data creation and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Modern developer software and geographical packages.
  • NHS data standards and information management.
  • Building robust, intuitive digital products for senior stakeholders.

Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required

  • From school: SQA Highers at Blue or Black Category (including Maths or Computing), plus National 5 English (C).
  • Foundation Apprenticeship: acceptable as a Foundation B at Higher level.
  • Experienced applicants: prior work experience or an HNC/HND considered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, data, and how things work.
  • Ability to explain ideas clearly to non‑tech colleagues.
  • Motivated, “can‑do” attitude.

You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Sponsorship may be available for certain roles, subject to salary threshold and other criteria.
