Position
Graduate Apprentice Developer (AI & Data Science) – 2 positions. This is a fully funded degree role: we pay your tuition and provide a salary.
Hours
36 hours per week.
- Monday: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis for 48 months.
What You Will Do
- Data creation and advanced statistical analysis.
- Modern developer software and geographical packages.
- NHS data standards and information management.
- Building robust, intuitive digital products for senior stakeholders.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience Required
- From school: SQA Highers at Blue or Black Category (including Maths or Computing), plus National 5 English (C).
- Foundation Apprenticeship: acceptable as a Foundation B at Higher level.
- Experienced applicants: prior work experience or an HNC/HND considered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- Genuine curiosity about AI, data, and how things work.
- Ability to explain ideas clearly to non‑tech colleagues.
- Motivated, “can‑do” attitude.
You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Sponsorship may be available for certain roles, subject to salary threshold and other criteria.
