Day & Night Care Assistants – Bank/Zero Hour Contract

We are recruiting compassionate and committed Care Assistants to join our Care Team at Middlefields House, a state‑of‑the‑art facility for 48 residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality, professional service of care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal cleanliness, including bathing and toileting.
• Support residents to eat and drink.
• Get to know residents to comfort, assist and give reassurance when needed.
• Treat residents as individuals with unique and diverse needs.
• Maintain dignity and respect for all residents.
• Encourage residents to remain independent, healthy and participate in the home community.
• Assist with tidying, cleaning, laundering and other domestic tasks when required.
• Assist in end‑of‑life care.

About You

• Enjoy working with older people and demonstrate empathy.
• Can work effectively in a team and take on any task to deliver excellent care.
• Well‑organised, adaptable and practical.
• Experience in providing care and an understanding of dementia is essential.

Hours

• Zero hour contract/Bank shifts available to cover absence, sickness, holidays and relief.
• Availability to work weekends and weekdays.
• Availability to work both days and nights.
