Delivery Driver

Camfil UK operates two production sites located in Haslingden, Lancashire and Gillingham, Kent. The group employs over 6000 people worldwide with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

3.5-ton tail lift Driver

Monday to Friday – 44 hours per week – Variable daily start time from 6am. Based from our site in Haslingden.

Responsibilities

• Delivering customer orders on time and in full using the big change system via a digital tablet and delivery documentation.
• Unloading customer orders from a vehicle in pre‑defined routes – informing the dispatch office of any issues at the time if any arise. Manual handling is included.
• Ensuring all documentation is completed, signed as required and returned to the dispatch office via a driver’s pack.
• Carrying out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to operation of any vehicle and reporting any defects immediately via a digital tablet.
• Checking and maintaining the vehicle on a regular basis.
• Loading and unloading of company vehicles.
• Assisting warehouse staff as and when required.

Requirements

• Full clean driving licence.
• Multi‑drop experience.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
