Volunteer Car Driver – Leicester
We are looking for a friendly and empathetic volunteer to drive vulnerable patients to non‑emergency appointments within the Leicester area, ensuring they arrive on time and with ease.
Responsibilities
- Drive patients to non-emergency appointments
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for seamless operations
- Foster positive relationships within the community
- Enjoy the autonomy of volunteering independently while being supported by a dedicated team
Qualifications & Requirements
- A valid driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Access to a 4‑door (minimum) car or a 4‑5‑door car
- A friendly and caring attitude (no prior experience required)
- Alignment with EMED Group’s values of collaboration, agility, reliability and empowerment
- Basic IT skills, such as the use of a smartphone
