As Activities Lead, you will develop and deliver a high‑quality, engaging, person‑centred activities programme that enhances wellbeing, promotes independence and creates a positive, stimulating environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead both group and one‑to‑one activities tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including for those living with dementia.
- Build strong relationships with residents, the care team and the Home Manager to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction.
- Ensure activities are well organised, consistent and aligned with individual care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and continuously review and improve the programme to keep it engaging and effective.
- Work alternate weekends.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or similar role.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Confident, creative and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia.
