Activities Lead – New Brighton

As Activities Lead, you will develop and deliver a high‑quality, engaging, person‑centred activities programme that enhances wellbeing, promotes independence and creates a positive, stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead both group and one‑to‑one activities tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including for those living with dementia.
• Build strong relationships with residents, the care team and the Home Manager to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction.
• Ensure activities are well organised, consistent and aligned with individual care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and continuously review and improve the programme to keep it engaging and effective.
• Work alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or similar role.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Confident, creative and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia.
