Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technologist
Full Time: 36 hours per week. Band 5 £34,544 – £43,039 (Annex 21 depending on experience).
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced staff in post‑mortem examinations.
- Handle specimens and maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Follow the APT training programme fully supported by NHS Grampian.
- Work comfortably in sensitive environments, demonstrating resilience, empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications and Experience
- Keen interest in science.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience preferred but full training will be provided.
