HGV Class 1 – Amesbury

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for AD-HOC work at our busy chilled distribution site based in Amesbury (Wiltshire). The role consists of refrigerated multi‑drop or trunking deliveries. Ideal for drivers looking to earn some extra money in their free time. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift available:

• Weekend shifts – choose any shift between Thursday and Monday.
• AM or PM start

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30‑minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In‑date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
• Minimum of 6 months Class one experience required
• No more than 3 points on your licence

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
