Overview
St Charles is looking for an enthusiastic SEND teaching assistant to join our team, working for 16 hours and 15 minutes per week in the mornings.
Responsibilities
- Work with teachers to raise learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
- Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Careful and supportive teaching assistant committed to obtaining the best outcomes for pupils.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Adapt approach to meet the needs of all pupils.
