The Role

Our club is seeking an experienced and passionate Fitness & Wellbeing Manager to lead a range of fitness and wellbeing programmes across wellness, group fitness, gym/studio, pool, and crèche. The role ensures an exceptional membership experience and delivers creative services to all members.

Responsibilities include overseeing a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment across all departments, collaborating with Wellness Coaches, Swimming Coordinator, Lifeguards, Group Fitness Coordinator, and Crèche Manager. You’ll ensure health and safety compliance, maintain industry standards, evaluate team performance, provide training and development for fitness and wellness, and the crèche team, ensuring industry certifications are maintained. You will manage operational policies, goals, and procedures, and collaborate with Membership Sales Manager and Event Sales Manager to create promotions and activities to drive registrations, boost sales, and engage members. Budget management and cost control are key to ensuring profitability and delivering The Club Company Wellness Experience.

Experience & Skills Required

  • CIMSPA related qualifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports or recreational management, sports marketing or related discipline.
  • CPR, First Aid, or AED certified.
  • Experience in a health and fitness facility management (desirable).

Schedule

  • 7 days a week business, operating between 0600 to 2300.
  • Shift patterns vary per business requirements and encompass all opening hours – weekends and bank holidays.
