Affinity Partnerships are looking to recruit several Autism and complex needs specialists for an outstanding special school which aims to provide innovative education and a challenging environment for pupils aged 2 to 19. The school specialises in educating pupils with a wide range of Physical Disabilities including those with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Complex Health needs. Many of the pupils now have CLDD (complex learning difficulties and disabilities).
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with mealtimes.
- Assist with moving, handling and other physical support needs.
- Maintain students’ dignity and independence at all times.
- Encourage and develop positive relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional experience in care.
- Experience delivering personal care to students.
- Prior experience caring for a family member is also considered.
