Overview

We are looking for an experienced Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 19.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, with the working hours required being Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.30 am‑3.30 pm. The purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support.

Key Information

  • FTE £25,185 per year (approx. £11,353 pro‑rata)

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • ‘Can‑do’ attitude and ability to use initiative
  • Ability to work flexibly and professionally
