Student Support Advisor
Student Support & Safeguarding is looking for experienced and enthusiastic professionals to be a part of a multi‑disciplinary team that provides the initial point of assessment, triage, and referral of students into specialist support, as well as helping to build students’ own resilience by giving guidance and advice towards managing and maintaining their own good mental health and wellbeing.
This is a part‑time role working 4 days per week (29.2 hours/0.8 fte) on a term‑time only basis, covering 32 weeks per year, and includes occasional weekend working to support open days and arrivals.
The department offers hybrid working and supports flexible working requests; however, the balance of on‑campus working may vary in line with student demand. You will typically be required to work on campus three days per week. Given the student‑facing nature of the role, on‑campus days will need to be agreed and maintained as part of team operational planning.
A basic DBS check is required for this role.
