Job Description:

As Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to oversee operations, maintain consistently high standards for the team, outlets, and the food and drink we prepare and serve, and continually improve service for visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Look after the entire F&B operation, ensuring high standards for the team, outlets, and the food and drink we prepare and serve.
  • Support team development, including recruiting, training, and setting personal objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and National Trust policies.
  • Set and achieve financial targets, increasing income and profits through controlled resources and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering outstanding customer service in a similar environment.
  • Leadership skills, including setting personal objectives and providing feedback.
  • Experience with budgets, increasing income and controlling costs, including stock and waste management.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude.
  • Awareness of health and safety compliance.

Working Hours & Compensation

Salary: £27,612 per annum, paid in 12 equal instalments.

Annualised hours: 1,950 per year; 5 days per week including weekends and bank holidays.

No evening work is required.

Contract duration: Fixed term until 31 August 2027.

Interview

Interviews will take place week commencing 6 July.
