Equine Groom Apprentice – Dressage/Livery Yard (Hill Green Livery, Tring)
Hill Green Farm Livery – a livery yard with breeding and dressage horses – is looking for an apprentice to join their team. The apprenticeship allows you to work with top‑level dressage horses, breeding stock, and a number of liveries, helping develop your skills and launch your career.

- Salary: From £16,640 per year
- Apprenticeship Level: 2

Responsibilities
This post may be non‑ridden or ridden depending on your riding level. Daily tasks include:
- Turning out
- Bringing in
- Rug changes
- Grooming
- Tacking up
- Lunging
- Mucking out
Working hours are rota based with some weekend work and shifts to be confirmed.
Training
All training will be provided on site during paid hours. Day‑to‑day mentoring will be with your employer, complemented by a combination of online and in‑person monthly sessions with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior basic experience in equine grooming
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Driver or reliable transport (public transport limited)
- UK resident or EU resident with at least 3 years in the EU
There is no accommodation for employees and no livery for own horse on site.
